Mr Teng,
Since you're a practising lawyer, I would like to enquire about some things regarding Malaysian law (if you don't mind).

Is it true that should any part of our content in blogs which causes discomfort in any quarters, we can be sued?

Hence, how can we practice our freedom of speech?

Dear Tan,

As far as I know (may not be the exact fact... I am not a laywer), Freedom of Speech in Malaysia (as compare with US or any other developed countries) are not really that free... In fact, there are alot of limitation. One of it is that, if the people in the government feels like you are a threat to the nation (even by just talking, you can be detain under ISA for as long as they want...(correct me if I am wrong, YB)

I suggest YB skip this forum for the time being and continue with others.
