The fund raising dinner organized by the DAP Sekinchan branch in support of Sdr Ng Suee Lim, DAP candidate for Sekinchan state seat, attracted more than 2,000 people. There were 1,600 who bought tickets to attend the dinner, a record for DAP Sekinchan, held in front of the DAP Sekinchan branch office while others were by-standers who attracted by the eloquent speakers, DAP Kota Melaka Parliamentary candidate, Sdr Sim Tong Him, DAP Kg Tunku state candidate, Lau Weng Sang, Sdr Ng and I.
The crowd also donated a sum of RM8,000 for the election campaign fund.
Looking at the response, Suee Lim should be able to retain the seat for the DAP.
